What should I do with my hair?

I have started to get very grey roots!!! I am naturally very dark and therefore often dye my hair with a natural dark brown home dye kit. However, I am getting married in June and so want to familiarise myself with a local hairdressers. I therefore thought about booking in for a hair cut and getting them to dye it too, but maybe start getting lighter streaks in. What do you suggest please? Can they do this and if so what is the best option? My hair is naturally frizzy but i do straighten it and it is now well below shoulder length. I dont want too much cut off but i do want a lighter shade so that the grey blends in better when the roots start showing!!

Brides often look gorgeous with long hair. Keep yours simple. Consult your hair dresser and give her an idea what your wedding gown looks like so that she can come up with a style to compliment it. Too much dying and perming of hair can be fatal to your sculp becos of chemicals used.

I have very dark hair, which is short. I have noticed that I have white hairs coming through but these are very hard to see because I have my hair highlighted. Try having a lighter highlight put through you hair and you will probably find it blend in together.

if your hairdresser is any good they will advise on a style and colour that suit you and that you are going to be happy with. visit them and see what they suggest - if you don't like it try another place. at the end of the day you are paying good money so you have to be happy with the results. hope all goes well.

My hairdresser is brilliant with my hair, using a semi permanent colour that blends in very well with the natural colour so that you can't tell I'm cheating, and also gives it great shine and condition. Go to a really good hairdresser ( ask locally for recommendations) and tell them what you want - they'll know what to do!
