so my hair used to be somewhat long and light brown with blode highlights in it. the highlights were from a box but they were still gorgeous. i decided that my hair was splotchy and uneven and wanted it back to just brown, so i got it dyed. its a dark brown but not to dark. everyone says they like my old hair better. i dont like my brown hair. but the only problem is that if i get professional highlights then might looks fake and ugly and they WILL fade and look grey. if i get them from a box then i will have to keep doing them evyry like 4 months and if i want to stop i will have to get my hair dyed again! and its winter so i cant lay in the sun to get my hair lighter. PLEASE HELP
I used to have gorgeous hair. then messed it up?
it's fine. take a deep breath. ppl will get used 2 ur hair within (maximum!) three weeks time, and no one will care about it, but u. just be patient until summer. i know it's hard hun, but sometimes u just have to give it time, otherwise u'll just ruin it even more.
all the best,
good luck!

I'd re-dye my hair back to a brown that you like, then get the box highlights, if you're desperate enough to get your hair back to what it used to be, you'll do the work. If not, stick with the brown, who cares what they think.

First you could go to your salon and talk about highlights with them. They'll tell you whether they will work or not. You could also try a product like "sun in" or "touch of sun". it is a spray and while you are blowdrying your hair, it just adds the most subtle highlights. Hope that helps:D

Dark brown hair is gorgeous if you have a little tan.Have you tried reflexes in red, black or caramel?
Maybe your friends need a little time to adjust to your new look. When I went from blond curls to dark brunette everyone was shocked LOL. The funny part was that people who didn't see the blonde first like this look better ;o)
