I tried to fix my blonde roots but ended up making my highlights grey..HELP?

HELP! I tried to touch up my blonde hair and it turned gray(used ash blond)-what color can i use to fix it?

Im so freaked out. My hair is short thank god, but now the highlights that were blonde blonde are ash grey. I used an ash grey blonde color thinking that the brassy parts would look better. Im not a natural blonde, and wouldnt mind going back to golden brown. Would a golden tone brown(semi or demi) color at home work over the ash grey areas? Thank you for help.

non sudsing amonia. spray in all over. wait about 2 or 3 minutes and rinse out. you will start to see the grey coming out. shampoo. towel dry . apply conditioner. rinse after 3 minutes with cool water.

done at salons all the time to fix grey.

I've always heard it recommended that once you mess it up, go to a professional to get it fixed. If you try to fix it and make it worse, that makes it harder to fix and it's bad to keep trying because you destroy your hair. You just never know how colors are going to act on the color you already have.

Go get it done. You will just screw it up even more! Good luck!

Don't worry about it........Your highlights have minimal cuticle and they won't hold the color. Without fail, in a few days the ashy ends will wash out. But if you're worried about it right now go to the kitchen and pour some good ole' tomato juice on it. Leave it for about 3-5 minutes and that should do the trick. If you don't have tomato juice and you need to go to the store, get some copper colored shampoo and simply shampoo your hair. Emulsify it for again, 3-5 minutes. You should be good to go!

that's why the hair colorists are.

you see, you have to know basic colors.

RED BLUE YELLOW

evey hair color has a base............before applying a color we must check our original color.....then imagine what will be the result if we put on it from the color of choice.

suppose you have blond hair, you put red in it. you got orange.

it is a vast field and can't be explained here.because exact shade is not in front of me.

so best thiing is to go to a salon.
