Black hair with pale skin?

I have natural dirty blonde hair and i dyed it medium-dark brown. I have kinda pale skin with hazel eyes. Now i want to go darker to black. My boyfriend said it would look beautiful but he thinks that either way. I just dont want it to fade out to purple or grey. Any suggestions??

Btw, i dont really care if i look gothic. =]

if you go to a salon and let them do it, with a permeant color it wount fade, and it would look so hott on you!

and after u dye it when u wash ur hair use a conditoner thats made for dark colored hair, like reincarnate by lush, www.lush.com look under solid shampoos, you can always use a black henna from lush, but only after u have dyed ur hair and that will stop it from fading (which it wont because the salon will use a permenant dye) but it will also keep it dark and shiney.

or u can use black expressions by pantenee. its good

P.S you would look washed out??? no i dont think so, ur features will standout more esp with ur hazel eyes and plus looking washed out would be if u were super pale and have platinum blonde hair. thats what washed out means.

yea, that'd look good except for you wanna be careful dying your hair a really different color because your roots will grow out and it'll look terrible, so get root touchups or get it re-dyed often or else you will look really bad

i think with ur skin color and that hair color you would look a bit washed out. why dont you go for a really dark brown(so dark it only looks black at times) instead

With your eyes, black is a bad choice, maybe try a darker brown. With red undertones. You wouldnt look good with a black color because of the blue undertones.

but that will look sexy..but if you die it black highlight the bottom of it or little streaks of your hair red!!!! that will look even hotter!

i was really pale when i was 12 paler than you.. and i wanted black hair for some reason i told my mom and we went in a store and i tried a black wig on.. i looked hideous.
