Hi friends... hel;p me solve my hair problem?

im 18 and college student

my hair is very dry and rough. im using garnier ultra doux shampoo n cond for the past one year. but no improvement. i ve lot of preamture greys too. and whenever i leave my hair dry after bathing, i find a lotta dandruf flakes. but if its wet or oiled i don find them. pls suggest some solution(s).....

Hi friends... hel;p me solve my hair problem?

part of the dryness is definitely due to the grey hair being courser than the other hair and it generally has a frizzy/ grizzled texture and nothing cam be done about that... if you are concerned about dandruff first figure out what kind you have dry dandreff are the small flakes and the oily type of seborrhea are larger scales that require a tar based shampoo like T-Gel (which smells yucky but works) and i know that Selson also makes an anti seborrheic shampoo made with Selenium and other products have Pyrithrnes as anti fungals ... there is also a product called Scalpacin that is an ointment/liquid that is apply directly to the scalp and not washed out if you have itching as well as dryness

but remember everyone has dandruff... the scalp is skin and it must shed... brush the hair daily and do not over dry the scalp... over shampooing daily can also be a source of the problem as well as hair care products loaded with waxes contribute to this problem as well

if you want a botanical product use Aveda... it is more expensive but highly concentrated and does not contain artficial ingredients

good luck

OK you should use head and shoulders. its the best shampoo. it treats flakes and it makes your hair smooth. Ive been using for awhile

Hi friends... hel;p me solve my hair problem?

when you have got a night in and don't have to rush out anywhere, try putting baby oil into scalp work it through the hair and leave on for about 3 hours but wrap a towel around it to keep scalp warm then shampoo and condition as normal you will find good results and it is cheap good luck

Hi friends... hel;p me solve my hair problem?

Ammm... a little boring and eeky solution but try putting some olive or mustard oil!!!!!

Hi friends... hel;p me solve my hair problem?

For the flakes I would agree to use Head and Shoulders. Buy a good quality salon conditioner and leave on for a couple of minutes before rinsing out.

If your hair is really that dry, you might want to even use a leave-in conditioner.

Hi friends... hel;p me solve my hair problem?

i have been a hair dresser for 15 years and grey hair is a heratatary trate, if your hair is dry and rough you will need to give it some moisrture by using a moisture shampoo and conditioner. here is a small suggestion . buy some cholestorole in a tub at any drug store it will be found in the hair care section usually on the bottom of the shelf. apply this to the root of your hair and comb it through it seems messy but you will love the results. it's a great way to once a week treat and condition your hair . you will need to keep this wraped in a towel for 15-20 minutes than rinse out don't shampoo just rinse it out you can notice the difference after one application . hope this helps and a great moisturizing shampoo and conditioner are either a kenra product which you can not buy but only in a salon or a nexxus product conditioner humetric is the best.

put some olive oil after bathing and creams.

stop using hair drier

Hi friends... hel;p me solve my hair problem?

Apply coconut oil liberally to your hair and scalp and leave on for 2 hours (cover) and wash as normal, a couple of washes and condition as normal. This should beautifully condition your hair and should also help with any dandruff. Make sure you get enough vitamins for healthy hair. If you are a college student and have exam/study stress it might be a good idea to invest in a good quality multivitamin/mineral supplement.

Premature greys could even be down to stress and lack of vitamins/minerals to meet the demands of stress. Important for healthy hair growth: B Vitamins (Brewers Yeast is rich in these), zinc (seeds and nuts are rich in this), Vitamin A, C %26amp; E, copper, iodine, silica (bell peppers, cucumbers %26amp; nettle tea are rich in this), and protein. Also, make sure you get enough quality oils in your diet to provide the necessary essential fatty acids. A lack of these could contribute to dry hair or skin. Eating oily fish regularly would be good for you, and use extra virgin olive oil in cooking.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
